Bundelkhand Vimarsh is a refereed and reviewed online research journal (e-ISSN: 3048-6319) published by Baraudi Sanskriti Sanskrit Sanskar Shiksha Samiti, Datia, Madhya Pradesh. It is dedicated to Indian knowledge traditions, Sanskrit scholarship, humanities, and interdisciplinary research.

Paper Submission
Who can submit research papers?

Professors, research scholars, and subject-matter experts from academic and research institutions are invited to submit original, unpublished research papers. Papers must be based on Indian knowledge traditions or related interdisciplinary fields.
What languages are accepted for submission?

Research papers may be written in Sanskrit, Hindi, English, or any other Indian language. Papers must be typed in Unicode format and submitted as MS Word (.docx) files.
What is the word limit for a paper?
+
Papers should be between 1500 and 3000 words in length.
How many co-authors are allowed?
+
A paper may have one primary author and a maximum of two co-authors. Papers with more than three total authors will not be considered for publication.
Where should I submit my paper?
+
Submit your paper via email to support@sanskritsamiti.org. Please include your name, institutional affiliation, email address, and mobile number along with the paper. A declaration of originality is mandatory.
Is there a submission fee?
+
Publication in Bundelkhand Vimarsh is completely free of charge. However, to submit a paper for publication, the author must hold a valid membership plan of the journal.
What is the membership fee?
+
Current plans are: Individual Annual - ₹2500/-, Institutional Annual - ₹5000/-, and Quarterly Membership for Existing Research Scholars - ₹1000/-. The quarterly plan is available only for existing research scholars.

Review Process
What is the review process for submitted papers?
+
Every submitted paper is evaluated through a Double-Blind Peer Review (द्विपक्षीय गुप्त समीक्षण) process. Neither the authors nor the reviewers know each other's identity during the review.
Who reviews the papers?
+
Papers are reviewed by the Punreekshan Samiti (Review Committee), which consists of qualified subject experts. Publication takes place only upon the committee's formal recommendation.
Is the editorial decision final?
+
Yes. The editorial board's decision on acceptance, revision, or rejection of any paper is final.
How will I know if my paper is accepted?
+
You will be notified via email about the status of your paper after the review process is complete. Accepted papers are published online in the upcoming issue.

How can I access previously published issues?

All published issues are available in the Archive section of this website. You can browse each issue's full paper list, download the index PDF, and access individual paper abstracts and PDFs directly.
Can I download the published papers?
+
Yes. Papers that have been made available as PDFs in the archive can be downloaded directly from the Archive page. All content is open access.
How many issues have been published so far?

As of 2025, six issues have been published — from Issue I (December 2023) through Issue VI (August 2025). The journal is in its third year of publication.
